Our latest philanthropic venture is the Shiksha Scholarship program aimed at equipping bright students from economically disadvantaged families with job-oriented courses. A funding of 80% of the full program tuition fee will be covered for those talented young students who have completed their secondary education with flying colours. The selection process will be overseen by the management committee of the Rotary Club to ensure an unbiased and transparent execution of the Shiksha Scholarships.
Our Scholarships are not only about funding of 80% of the Scholars full program tuition fees. We work closely with Shiksha scholars for their overall development through mentoring and hand- holding. And we assist our scholars in the recruitment and selection process for placement in appropriate jobs.
Our purpose is to Enable shiksha scholars through education, Enhance them through mentoring and personality development and finally Empower them through placement in appropriate jobs. Partnerships form the backbone of the Shiksha Program. Partner intake schools, partner institutes specializing in job oriented courses, partner organisations for scholar placements, sponsors for program funding, donors and mentors for adding value, form an integral part of our scholarship ecosystem.
